Mika Micha
Mika Micha (pronouns: they/them/theirs) is a multi-spirited mixed race, queer, neuroqueer and disabled, non-monogamous and kink-positive associate marriage and family therapist (AMFT 137237). They practice unconditional positive regard with clients, holding space for self-discovery and bearing witness to self-recognition. Gentle perspective challenging occurs as needed at the speed of trust. Their theoretical orientation is integrative, combining solution-focused, ACT, DBT, and CBT skills when useful, with IFS and contemporary psychodynamics. They are spiritually attuned and offer holistic care as part of their practice.
As a therapist, they commit their energy towards decolonizing healing work for queer and gender expansive POC abolitionists, dreamers, and creatives. Their growing practice intends to create a space of safety, depth, liberation, and empowerment for those who often find themselves fighting for love. Mika is committed to their own process of healing and growing for the sake of liberation for all beings.
Mika offers therapy for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents in English and Spanish.
