Bowie Winnike (they/them)
I became a therapist because of my desire to help trans, queer, and neurodivergent communities thrive. My approach is rooted in the belief that everyone I work with has the inherent capacity to heal. I see myself as a guide, supporting clients in coming back to their own inner wisdom and strength.
My work draws from modalities that have supported me in my own healing, including Internal Family Systems, expressive art, and mindfulness techniques. I also am informed by my experiences within Deaf community at Gallaudet which taught me how to offer competent care in American Sign Language.
I strive to be open and humble as I support people in navigating the challenges of their lives. Whether you are exploring a new identity or just want a therapist that you don’t have to educate, I am here to meet you with care, intention, and humor.
