Ayo Olu-Odumosu (she/her)
Ayo Odumosu (she/her) is a second-year doctoral student at the Wright Institute, pursuing her Psy.D. in clinical psychology. She earned her B.A. in psychology from UC Berkeley, focusing on clinical mental health. Ayo employs a relational approach, integrating narrative therapy, liberation psychology, and a social justice framework into her practice.
With a deep appreciation for the complexity of human emotional experience, Ayo believes that no one exists in a vacuum. She contextualizes individuals within their unique intersecting identities, recognizing that our material conditions and the systems of oppression we navigate profoundly impact our psychological well-being and the meanings we derive from our experiences.
Her goal is to guide clients in exploring their rich internal worlds, fostering meaningful connections and emotional resilience. Outside of therapy, Ayo enjoys dancing with friends, creating performance art, building her queer Nigerian diaspora archive, taking introspective nature walks, and cherishing time with loved ones.
